Parasite with no Fore-sight

by: Surreal as Sunlight

It's true that ants will take any offer
Whether it pummels them to the ground
Burns them alive
Or floods them away

But the realization must occur
that insects are everywhere

The bees that left your mouth
Stung the neck of moral

The fireflies that shined once
Are now nothing but a beautiful smeared glow on white pavement

How many innocent spiders
Must become martyrs
Before you realize that this relfection
In those 8 eyes
Is yourself?
